The Pentecost : May 22nd

The second feast proclaimed as sacred assembly in the Holy Celestial Church is the feast of Pentecost. The feast of Pentecost commemorates the birth of the Church of Celestial Christianity. It is also known to Celestials as the feast of New Moon is celebrated every year on the twenty and second day of the month of May. The sacred assembly of the feast of New Moon is normally a devotional worship mass that takes place that day from twelve noon to three in the afternoon.

The feast of Pentecost represents the feast of the new covenant and it is under the supervision of the host of Seraphim Uriel, the Light of God. This feast is not to be confused either with the Pentecost of the Church of Catholic Christianity or with the one celebrated in the Church of Judaism.
